I had a great vacation last week, and I don’t regret a minute of it. I did it up right. I got together with loved friends at every meal. However, my scale, lurking evilly in my bathroom, waits to slap me into self-recrimination. I refuse to weigh in today, or even tomorrow. What is important is what I do on a consistent basis – and I have a great eating plan that I’m implementing. I plan to accomplish a lot in March toward weight loss, including a much anticipated visit to a fitness resort. Fitness resorts are great because working out eight hours a day stone cold works.
My last Triathlon Swim Clinic was today, and I got great feedback from the teachers. The next time I’ll see my swim teachers will be in May, when we do a practice run of the actual EagleMan course during Triathlon Endurance Camp. I probably should look into having some serious endurance before then.
Better get on that….
Good idea, forget the scale for a while and focus on your fitness regimen and your healthy eating habits…
Thanks! I don’t want to look at setbacks, just plan for progress.
Nothing wrong with leaving the scale behind for a little bit, but on the flip side maybe you’ll feel better about your progress if you added a couple pounds that should be easy to drop??
Thanks, and yes. I peeked this morning, and got some really good motivation to eat clean and healthy. It will be good to see the progress this week.
very nice
